AI Voice Callback
When a customer misses your call, ResponseBud can automatically call them back using AI. This ensures you never lose a lead due to a missed connection.
Configuration Options
- Enable AI Voice Callback: Toggle this feature on or off
- Callback Delay (minutes): How long to wait before calling back (default: 2 minutes)
- Maximum Callback Attempts: How many times to try calling back (default: 1)
- AI Voice: Choose from multiple voice options (Alloy, Echo, Fable, Onyx, Nova, Shimmer for OpenAI, or Rex, Leo for xAI)

When Callbacks Trigger
Callbacks are automatically triggered when:
- • A call is missed (no answer)
- • A call is busy
- • A call fails to connect
- • The customer hasn't opted out of callbacks
Live Voice Answering
Enable AI to answer incoming calls in real-time, having natural conversations with customers as they call. This is perfect for businesses that want 24/7 availability without hiring additional staff.
How It Works
- Customer calls your Twilio phone number
- AI answers the call immediately (if enabled)
- AI has a natural conversation with the customer
- AI can collect information, answer questions, and schedule appointments
- If needed, AI can transfer to a human agent
Plan Requirements
Live Voice Answering is available on Business+ plans. If you're using Twilio (optional but recommended), make sure your Twilio webhook is configured to point to ResponseBud's incoming call endpoint.
